SUMMER BEAUTY SCHOOL: Classes Starting in June at La Bichette

This summer we have three different classes to offer young ladies looking for a bit of guidance from our glam gurus!  See specifics below:

FRIENDSHIP BRAIDS
Appropriate for ladies age 8 and older.
Class is limited to 10 ladies.
Cost: $150
Session 1: June 30, July 1 & 2
Session 2: July 14, 15 & 16
3-5:30pm each day.
*Runway Party at 5pm on last day of class.

Master the art of braiding with this comprehensive braid class!  We will brush up on a basic Three-Strand Braid and move into French, Dutch, Fishtail and Waterfall Braids!  We will also learn how to do several bohemian style braided updos!  Finish off the class with a Braided Runway Event where students will get a professional makeup application to suit their braided 'do and present their style on La Bichette's red carpet!  Family & friends presence is requested!

CURL POWER!
Learn how to achieve tousled beachy waves to polished red carpet curls, all with a wand!
Appropriate for ladies age 10 and older.
Class limited to 10 ladies.
Cost: $250 (Includes Cortex 4 in 1 Curling Wand, a $250 value)
Session 1: June 30, July 1 & 2
Session 2: August 13, 14 & 15
Session 3: August 20, 21 & 22
11am-1pm each day.

Love curls but having trouble achieving the look on your own?  Whether it's tousled waves, retro inspired curls, big curls, little curls, messy curls or polished curls, master the technique to take your hair from flat to full!  This comprehensive class will go over proper sectioning, product and wand technique for each curl type.  Every student will have the opportunity to create each of the looks on her own gorgeous locks with the guidance of a stylist.  Each student will be given a brand new Cortex 4 in 1 Curling Wand which will be theirs to become comfortable with throughout the class and theirs to take home at the end of class!

TEEN MAKEUP 101
Appropriate for ladies 13 to 18.
Class limited to 12 ladies.
Cost: $300
Session 1: August 11 & 12
Session 2: August 18 & 19
11am-1pm each day.

Interested in using makeup but not sure where to begin?  Or maybe you've been using makeup but you're unhappy with your final product.  This class is your guide for everything from skin care to school makeup, as well as dance night makeup dos and don'ts!  We start by laying the groundwork for healthy skin and build to master a smoky eye, contouring like a pro, maintaining your brows and so much more!

Course curriculum includes:
*A customized daily skincare regimen.
*Importance of makeup brushes & brush cleanliness.
*Choosing appropriate foundation color & type (liquid, pressed or loose) and learning application techniques for a natural, fresh look.
*How to choose blush colors according to skin tone and techniques for applying.
*Contouring with light bronzer for spring/summer.
*Eye Shadow that can transform from daytime to nightime.
*Mastering a smoky eye.
*Brow maintenance.
*Learn what lip glosses best suit the season or your wardrobe.
